Good spot for some quick food. Very neat atmosphere, there walls are really cool murals and even some of the ceiling tiles are even painted. With this place you always know what you're going to get. Very consistent! I usually go with the steak tacos. They have a bangin' chicken burrito that's also good. It's got buffalo(bangin') chicken with rice, cheese, sour cream, and green onions. The Flautas are also very good. They're fried tortillas stuffed with jalapeño, cheese, and cream cheese. Comes with a sweet chili sauce that's pretty good too. When we aren't in the mood to go to a restaurant or cook we'll end up here and it's the same quality every time. OH! And they also have a hot sauce bar for those of you that like to spice it up a bit!

Stopped in for a road lunch, the young lady behind the counter was friendly as well as engaging, commenting that I looked like the manager. Looking back I'm hoping that was a good thing. I went with the Chicken Quesadilla, which was offered with lettuce, sour cream etc... I'm a purist just C&C, chicken and cheese. with a side of chips. The Chicken Quesadilla was good but what I found intriguing was the hot sauce bar. Like a mad scientist I was mixing hot with sweet and so on. Next time I would consider just ordering chips and hitting the hot sauce bar. The manager stopped by to check on me, which was a nice touch....... and he looked nothing like me...just saying. I would stop in again..... if for no other reason to see if the manager and I have grown closer in our looks.

I love it. Far superior to Chipotle and they don't nickel and dime you for everything. My toddler loves the beans and rice and chips. Can get super busy on Taco Tuesdays for the special but we've never not been able to find a table.

Tijuana Flats is one of my favorite places to go. No matter which location you visit, you get the same food, every time, and the staff is always super friendly. Blackened chicken floutas are the best thing on the menu. Go for it.

I enjoyed lunch here but was surprised when I was asking about the burritos and enchiladas that they're fried? So I was stuck ordering two soft tacos. They were good - had a pork one and a chicken one with a side of guacamole. They came with chips and you could go up to their impressive salsa bar. Would stop back if in the area but I don't tend to gravitate to these types of places where you stand on line order and pay then they bring out your food. I will say I like it much better than chipotle.

I love the hot sauce bar! This is a casual joint with a limited menu. The food is dependably OK but not exceptional. The guac is great. It is worth it just to sample a dozen different hot sauces. They have beer and wine. My wife likes this for Mexican. I definitely prefer others but don't mind it. They have regular specials. Prices are so so.

Customer service was superb. The food was not extra ordinary but the choices of hot sauce set them apart from their competition.

Tijuana Flats has always been a nice, reliable place to grab a quick bite to eat, so I was rather happy to see them open this location in my neck of the woods. No, it's not "authentic" Mexican food by any means, but anyone who expects that is barking up the wrong tree. I suppose I'm rather predictable, but I always order the same thing here and I'm never disappointed. My meal of choice is the chicken quesadilla on whole wheat (I like that you get to choose your tortilla... the whole wheat is delicious). It comes with a generous portion of chips, and I also order a side of salsa in which to dunk both the quesadilla and chips. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the quality is consistently good. While my meal is being prepared, I sidle up to the hot sauce bar, and get a variety of hot sauces (I mix them into the salsa). My favorites are "Don't be a Chicken Shit" and "Georgia Peach" - the latter is my absolute fave, and other Tijuana Flats locations I've been to don't have it very often. This location, however, has it every time I've been, so they get an extra star from me just for that. The staff here is always super friendly and welcoming, which makes visiting here all the more pleasant of an experience. I'm glad they're in this area, which is a black hole of restaurants, so I really hope they do well!

Went to lunch and had great service, the food was delicious and a step above my last experience. "Kudos" to the management for getting their act together. In all fairness to this establishment. My rating is upgraded. Cheers!

Very good food. I've only eaten here one time but it was a good experience. I ate here on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't busy. I ordered my usual go to tex mex meal which is a beef quesadilla with a side of loaded nachos. While I was waiting for my food I checked out their hot sauce bar. It was very impressive but I didn't dare try anything. My food came out quickly and it was very good. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. I will be going back.

Okay, HOt sauces are divine! Seriously great choices...But, is it strange i always leave here still hungry!? and why isn't it socially acceptable to eat two meals by myself with dessert!? If i could and that was financially practical I'd come here more often! I don't know why they are so cheap with portion sizes and the food is so good!!!!!!!

Only had one questionable experience it was an order I did right before close, the food tasted great (for that category of casual dining) as it typically does. Also I am often picking up "to-go" orders since I live literally yards away... However a recent experience left me with some stomach concerns (not food poisoning and nothing to gross but enough for me to make note of). I have returned twice since so it hasn't deterred me. The front end staff and management is well trained and well spoken and typically turns around an order rapidly and with quality. A rate negative is tables that take a bit longer than you might liked to be cleaned (Tijuana Flats is a Casual/fast), that has employees discarding trash. Otherwise not a bad experience .

Their guacamole is the best! If I only ordered that, and nothing else, I'd be in heaven. Not really, but I usually order the taco's, or a chimi, or a salad, which have always been great! This time I ordered a Norrito bowl, because I wanted to try something different. Not enough pork. I only got like 2 bites of shredded pork. I couldn't even tell if there was pork on it. Either they were running out, and just gave me what was left, and didn't think I'd notice, since it was a to-go order, or that's just what they give. The rice was way over seasoned. Someone had a heavy hand with the cumin, because it repeated on me till the next morning, which was really gross. Love the hot sauce bar, but the staff really needs to keep on top of it, and keep it refilled at all times. Several of them were empty, and there was nobody to be found. I still like this place, but this time, it wasn't as good as the times before.

I love this Tijuanas!!! The staff is so friendly. I come here for lunch or dinner all the time. The staff remembers my name and order. I appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond to insure my order is always right (I'm vegan, so I'm very specific and leave no room for error) The food is great!

Gotta love Taco Tuesday. Always a fun family environment with consistent service at all locations. Spend the extra dollar for steak.

Wow, three cheers for tijuana flat. I was greeted as soon as we open the door. The employee was just full of energy and loads of smiles. Tijuana flat is a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a meal, if it's by yourself or with friends. The menus are located right y the door so you can order s soon s you get next in line. Which by the way, moves very quickly, The food was amazing. I ordered the chimichanga which was so nicely prepared and the taste was beyond what i was expecting. The portions were pretty big. They also serve all your favorites like burrito, tacos, ect. Btw they have sooo many hot sauce. I'm always looking for the hottest one ! Tijuana flat was one of my best experience in customer and restaurant service, everyone was polite and friendly. I will be definitely be coming back.

one word.....FRIENDLY! i couldn't believe how nice everyone here is. I mean really friendly. it was my first time here and the cashier just came right out and offered to give me a mini run down of everything without me even saying its my first time here. they speak so kindly and soft, i almost pictured unicorns and rainbows when they spoke to me, Other than being really nice, they are very THOROUGH with your orders. the cashiers know exactly what comes with your order and repeats every item to you BEFORE charging you. she pointed at the hot sauce bar and recommended local favorites and some unique one that only the strong hearted might be able to handle. As i made my way over and filled up a few mini container with the sauce a young man approaches me and says my name. when i answered him he brings my bag over to me and i went to reach for it but then he opens the bag calls out everything i ordered, to make sure i got everything and gave me the biggest smile ever. I was so impressed i dragged my husband out the house who wasn't even that hungry ,just so i could go back and see if it would happen again. Guess what....IT did! It was a whole other crew but same quality customer service. the food was delish and tasted fresh. sorry taco bell but looks like ill be making a new pit stop! great job!

Tijuana is by far my favorite place, so I was nervous moving that there would not be one close to me. This is the first one I found. It is quite smaller than ones I have been to and only have a couple outside tables. Parking seems okay but I have not been when it is busy. The food was perfect. Our dessert we ordered later (churros) took about 15 minutes and when they came out were pretty bare. They recognized this and gave us a second dessert (chocolate chip cookie flautas). I did have to request more sugar and cinnamon though on our original dessert and they did.

One of THE managers his name is Barry is a good guy if you have any problems look him up. Another friendly staff member is Samantha short little blonde girl with a nice bubbly personality she's really nice and they have nice outfits in there too!

3.5 stars really, but I'm rounding down because I've only come here twice in a year so I can't go as far as to say I'm a big fan. I stopped in here on a Friday night to get take out. I kind of wish they had a few more menus out because I kind of felt rushed standing in front of the cashier reading the menu, but she was friendly enough and was able to help us through the ordering process. I ordered two burritos (beef and bean) and an order of tostadas as well as the salsa/guac/queso chip combo. We also ordered two beers to drink as we waited for our food. The food didn't take long to come out and we spent the time enjoying our beers and visiting the hot sauce bar. I appreciate that they have the tiny to go hot sauce cups out so you can take as many as you like with you, the only trick is remembering which are super spicy and which aren't. I prefer to stick with the tangier sauces, but my brother really likes spice, so I "surprised" him with some of the more serious offerings. In terms of food the burritos were good, though I swear the last time I was there they had more burrito options, as I wish I could have added sauce on top (I think I did last time) though maybe I could have and just didn't see it. My brother also pointed out that these burritos didn't have rice in them, so it was essentially just a giant taco, but I barely noticed because I don't really care that much for rice anyway. The tostadas were a big hit. The chip/dip trio was good. I like their salsa a lot and who doesn't love queso. The guac was a little overly citrusy but it didn't bother me to the point that I didn't like it. The dip to chip ratio is a little off as we were left with what seemed like a pound of extra toritlla chips, but better too many chips than too few. I was impressed with the take out service here as they were very careful to check the orders before they left the kitchen. It is never good to get home and realize you are missing something. For the price the portions are a good size and I'm sure I will be back at some point.

A brand new location of the fabulous Tijuana Flats chain! They have the same consistently delicious food, funky decor, and outstanding customer service. And I know my Tijuana Flats...you know you're addicted when you walk into a new location and one of the trainers comes over to ask "Hey! Are you cheating on the Sunrise location?" :-) The space is clean, bigger than most of the locations (more seating towards the back) and has plenty of parking. Come visit them, and don't miss the Cookie Dough Flautas for dessert!

Avoid the overpriced bland side-items, get a couple of tacos, a side of queso for your chips, and one or two Coronas with lime, then douse your tacos with a variety of the delicious and somewhat dangerous sauces from the hot sauce bar. I like the Endorphine Rush for the heat, and the "Smack My Ass and Call Me Sally" Jalepeno sauce for the flavor.

This place consistently serves food cold to room temperature. I have been here about 5 times and its always the same....cold. A lot of teens working here so I thought sooner or later they would improve, but it seems not. I've had it, no more!

Always yummy! Always consistant. Even when they look busy, the food never takes too long to come out. I hope they open one further west for us!

This is our go to TF spot on Sunday nights. I've tried everything on their menu and it rawks, except I'm not too keen on the fish tacos, but that may be a taste bud glitch of mine. The service isn't excellent per se, but they get the order done. We love their food enough to have them cater our wedding. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I've been to Moe's and Chipotle and while those are not bad and I would eat there, there is something about TF that I keep going back to. This location isn't perfect and every place has its flaws, but it feels good to have found a reliable go-to spot.

My son and I are obsessed with this place. We have also visited several others in Fort Myers and Tampa. The food is always fresh, the service friendly and the prices are still affordable. A far cry from Taco Bell... Never leaves you with a greasy, queasy feeling. I guess we are Flat Heads now... Don't even need menu!!!

Damn that hot bar is HOT! My favorite sauces from the hot bar are ones with habanero and without sugar. They have the most flavor. For a healthier option, I had the chicken salad, without shell and no cheese or sour cream. It was still delicious, filling and satisfying. My babe got the ground beef chimichanga (the complete opposite of healthy) and he inhaled that thing. I had a bite and must admit it was incredible. Perfect balance of beef, cheese and tortilla. The service was friendly and welcoming. I will enthusiastically come back!

I don't care what anyone says I LOVE this place! Yes...the ambiance is a cheesy take on a Mexican.. Fiesta? Ok, not going there, but with that aside the food is great! I love their steak tacos and they add a variety of extra ingredients that most places would charge you extra to add.. Guacamole anyone? I guess the daisy dukes the staff is wearing would be appealing to the college crowd that seems to frequent this restaurant. Myself, I'm not a fan but to each their own. The food is good enough for me to overlook the flaws and if your looking to burn out your taste buds then may I suggest the huge hot sauce bar they have? Happy eating!

This is the only 1 star I have given in my entire yelp career, but I felt I needed to write it as a public service. I came in with my pregnant wife, and her even more pregnant best after a longgggg meeting, so needless to say we were all hungry and ready to throw down. We were so hungry that we would have thought anything that remotely resembled food to be delicious. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted with the ambiance of skulls and aliens on the wall, with beer bottles on the floor to bring it all together, just in case we thought eating cheap Mexican at what looked like a comic con was too classy. There was only one person in front of us, so of course the wait was north of a quarter of an hour to receive our food.... did I mention I was with 2 hungry pregnant women? The food finally shows up and it wasn't terrible, that was my only reaction after being so hungry and waiting all day to eat.... not the most glowing review. The burrito was like a c- student, not very impressive, but it passes the test if forced to grade it. You might not hang it on your refrigerator but at least you don't have to hang your head in shame. The salsa for the chips is not too accessible, but they have hot sauce. The wait staff wasn't all that great either. Bottom line, if you really, really have to have a burrito and neither, chipotle, Moe's, zona fresca, or lime are near by...... then order a pizza. P.s. I also had to buy a plunger to battle what I can only assume was a small bout of food poison. Well played Tijuana flats, well played

Food is one step above Taco Bell. Polite and helpful employees. But that's it....everything is good except the food.

Corporate Mexican food taste just like that sounds. And this is a corporate Mexican taco joint much like countless other corporate Mexican taco joints. Food is good at least it taste good, but it is American Mexican. Service is good beer is cold and chips are fresh so if you enjoy a corporate Mexican taco joint, you will enjoy this

  • Mark H.

Intensely disliked the food and service. You have to stand in line to order, which I don't mind so much, but the ordering process goes inexcusably slowly. The food was lukewarm, lacked flavor, and quite honestly I would much have preferred anything from Taco Bell over what we were served. Don't bother with this place.

The Coral Springs location is hands down the BEST location I've ever visited. The staff is FANTASTIC and always friendly. Management is EXCEPTIONAL and ALWAYS aim to please.

Mmm T-flats. Every time I go home to Coral Springs I stop in here. Taco Tuesday is a great value. I always get two tacos, which comes with a drink and a side of beans and rice. The portions are very generous and delicious!! And the hot sauce bar is awesome. The sauces are rated by heat and have funny names. My friend adores their ice... its crushed ice and she's just obsessed. It's pretty random but since she loves it I thought it was worth mentioning. I can't wait to go back!

  • Greg P.

We eat here lunch time for Taco Tuesdays every week. The always rotating large selection of hot sauces keep it interesting. The staff is super friendly and the food consistently good and well put together. The pricing is cheap and it is very fast as long as you dont have to wait on a long line. They serve beer which is cool for this kind of spot. They are doing Burrito Thursdays again and that's awesome! Right next store is Starbuck's if you're in the mood. Also a great location on Sample right at 441.

delicious food but horrible service. the female servers there are always wearing skimpy clothes and they never have a sense of humor. its a good thing their food is good or else i'd never go back. also a little pricey for being a casual place and we always have trouble finding seating no matter how many people are in the party.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
